KICK-OFF: Luther and the Avant-garde
The exhibition “Luther and the Avantgarde” showcases the response of the international contemporary art scene to the pressing issues of our time. 60 artists present their perspectives on freedom, religion and social conflicts. Their starting point is the progressive attitude against the status quo as exemplified in the Lutheran ‘model’.
The exhibition is being organised by the Foundation for Art and Culture, in collaboration with the Reformationsjubiläum 2017 (Reformation Anniversary 2017).
